Based in Bengaluru, Narasimhan joins Acuity’s Executive Committee, where he will lead the HR, Training & Knowledge Management (TKM), Corporate Services, and Compliance teams. His focus will be on developing a people and talent strategy that aligns with Acuity’s rapid business expansion, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), technology and AI adoption, and overall professionalisation.
He will oversee the company’s global HR strategy, ensuring seamless policy development, employee engagement, and organisational design. Additionally, he will play a key role in talent acquisition, attracting and retaining top-tier professionals to support Acuity’s continued business success. His portfolio also includes spearheading the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, reinforcing its commitment to social impact.
With operations spanning 16 global locations, Narasimhan’s leadership will be critical in scaling Acuity’s HR functions to support its expanding workforce.
A Seasoned HR Leader with a Global Perspective
Narasimhan brings over 25 years of experience in HR leadership. Prior to joining Acuity, he served as the Global Head of Talent Acquisition at State Street, leading global hiring strategies from Singapore. In this role, he managed talent acquisition across multiple regions, driving recruitment for a diverse and dynamic workforce.
Previously, he was Head of HR for State Street’s global hubs in India, Poland, and China, overseeing a workforce of approximately 25,000 employees. His tenure was marked by successful initiatives in employee engagement, operational efficiency, and large-scale HR transformation.
