The awards span five categories: Digital Transformation, Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud-Native Development, Automation, and the newly introduced AI & Emerging Tech.

In the Cloud-Native Development category, Indian Bank was recognised for deploying India’s first private cloud infrastructure by a public sector bank using Red Hat OpenShift Platform Plus. This move modernised the bank’s legacy systems, enhanced agility, and enabled the delivery of mission-critical services across digital lending, omnichannel banking, and financial inclusion.

Tata Teleservices (TTSL) earned honours under Digital Transformation and Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure. By adopting Red Hat’s open hybrid cloud framework, TTSL created a unified, scalable, and resilient technology foundation that improves service delivery and strengthens its position as a trusted partner to businesses across India.

Unity Small Finance Bank was acknowledged in the Digital Transformation category for implementing Red Hat OpenShift to build a flexible architecture supporting rapid deployment of digital solutions. This enabled the bank to enhance customer engagement, strengthen service delivery, and expand access to underserved communities.

India’s largest lender, State Bank of India, was recognised in Digital Transformation and Cloud-Native Development for leveraging Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Red Hat Ansible Automation to build a cloud-native architecture powering internet banking, mobile platforms, and branch portals. This modernization has enhanced scalability, resilience, and security while supporting SBI’s ambitious digital roadmap.
