The AI-powered mobile app offers real-time self-care tools, community resources, and mental health support for users across Australia and New Zealand Melbourne, June 26, 2025
Global technology leader Infosys and the Mental Health Foundation Australia (MHFA) have announced the launch of a groundbreaking mental health mobile app, ‘Supportive Mind’, aimed at improving mental health awareness and access to care in Australia and New Zealand. This joint initiative reflects Infosys’ commitment to community well-being through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs and MHFA’s legacy of mental health advocacy since 1930.
The ‘Supportive Mind’ app, conceptualized and developed by Infosys for MHFA, seeks to address the increasing demand for mental health support in today’s fast-paced world. The app has been specifically designed for individuals facing challenges in maintaining their mental well-being due to hectic work schedules, academic stress, family obligations, or social pressures.
A Step Forward for Mental Health
In a world where mental health concerns are rising, especially post-pandemic, this initiative by Infosys and MHFA stands out as a thoughtful response combining technology, empathy, and accessibility. By placing wellness tools directly into users’ hands, ‘Supportive Mind’ offers hope and help to those who may otherwise struggle in silence.
Accessible Support, Anytime, Anywhere
At its core, the app aims to empower individuals with self-help resources that are easy to use and available at their fingertips. Features include:
- Mood tracking and personalized insights
- Daily wellness recommendations and activity reminders
- Walking challenges to encourage physical activity
- Push notifications for wellness tips
- Tools for self-care and fundraising campaigns
By using AI-powered insights through Infosys Topaz, a proprietary generative AI stack, the app adapts to users’ behavior and preferences to offer more personalized and meaningful support. Infosys will also leverage these AI tools to assess the app’s social impact and help MHFA tailor its mental health outreach strategies.
Collaboration Rooted in Purpose
Professor Melissa Green, Chairperson of Mental Health Foundation Australia, expressed her optimism about the new initiative:
“We are excited to unveil ‘Supportive Mind’ in partnership with Infosys. This app represents a new chapter in digital mental health advocacy, one where technology empowers people to take care of themselves. It brings proactive wellness into the palms of users, helping them live happier, healthier lives.”

Andrew Groth, Executive Vice President, Asia Pacific, Infosys, emphasized the company’s deeper mission:
“At Infosys, we aim to amplify human potential and create inclusive opportunities for all. Mental health is central to this vision. By co-developing ‘Supportive Mind’ with MHFA, we are harnessing innovation to ensure mental wellness tools are accessible and scalable. This initiative embodies how digital transformation can improve lives beyond business.”
Pilot Launch and Future Expansion
The app will first be introduced through pilot programs in educational institutions, corporate organizations, and community groups. This strategic rollout will help gather early user feedback and refine features before a broader public launch. It also aligns with MHFA’s long-term mission to make mental health resources more affordable, accessible, and integrated into daily life.
