Everhope Oncology Launches Gurugram’s First Dedicated Cancer Daycare Centre

GURUGRAM: Everhope Oncology, a next-generation cancer care provider backed by Narayana Health, W Health Ventures, and 2070 Health, has launched its first cancer daycare centre in Sector 65, Gurugram. The 15-bed facility on Golf Course Extension Road marks a significant step in reshaping cancer treatment in India, offering patients high-quality, outpatient care in a calm, non-hospital environment.

Unlike traditional hospital-based oncology services, Everhope’s cancer daycare model is built to reduce stress, waiting times, and logistical barriers—allowing patients to receive chemotherapy and return home the same day.

“We’re not just launching another healthcare centre,” said Gaurav Porwal, Director at Everhope Oncology. “We’re responding to a massive gap in India’s cancer ecosystem — by delivering clinically excellent, emotionally intelligent care, close to where people live and work. Our daycare model allows patients to maintain their routines and dignity during treatment.”

“Cancer patients shouldn’t have to choose between world-class treatment and maintaining their quality of life,” added Dr. Garg. “We believe both are possible — and necessary.”

A Shift in Cancer Care Delivery

Globally, over 60% of chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments are delivered in outpatient daycare settings — a model known for minimizing hospital-acquired infections and improving patient outcomes. Everhope aims to bring this standard to India, where over 8 million people currently live with cancer, and 1 in 9 individuals is projected to develop it in their lifetime.

India faces significant oncology resource constraints, with just one oncologist for every 2,000 patients. Treatment delays, long travel distances, and overwhelming hospital environments often result in suboptimal outcomes. Everhope aims to bridge this gap by offering a decentralised, precision-led alternative that blends technology, clinical quality, and patient-centered design.

“Our clinical offering is both comprehensive and cohesive,” said Dr. Sunny Garg, Chief Medical Officer at Everhope Oncology. “From immunotherapy and palliative care to emotional counselling and nutrition support, our centres are designed to address every facet of a patient’s journey.”

Key Features of the Gurugram Centre

  • 15 private suites for chemotherapy and targeted therapies

Backed by Major Healthcare Players

Everhope raised $10 million in seed funding, one of the largest early-stage healthcare investments in India. The joint venture brings together Narayana Health’s clinical legacy, W Health’s venture expertise, and 2070 Health’s go-to-market and technology capabilities.

Following the Gurugram launch, Everhope plans to open centres in South Delhi, Noida, Mumbai, and Bangalore, with a 10-city expansion roadmap aimed at delivering over 100,000 cancer treatment sessions in the next three years.

A Holistic, Scalable Model for India

By combining expert-led care with neighbourhood accessibility, Everhope aims to remove the psychological, logistical, and financial burden of cancer treatment. Its model allows patients to remain integrated with their families, work lives, and support systems—helping them heal faster and live better.
