IndusInd Bank has appointed Amitabh Kumar Singh
He has more than 28 years of experience in HR leadership, of which 21 years are with the ICICI Group. Singh will join on 10 Nov 2025 amid an ongoing strategic senior management reshaping at IndusInd.

Private sector lender IndusInd Bank has announced the appointment of Amitabh Kumar Singh as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective 10 November 2025. Singh will also join the bank’s Senior Management Personnel (SMP) cadre, signalling a fresh wave of leadership changes at the bank as it readies itself for accelerated growth.

The appointment comes at a time when IndusInd Bank is actively fortifying its top leadership team. In the last few weeks, the bank has made appointments, including those of Viral Damania as Chief Financial Officer, Pragati Gondhalekar as Head of Internal Audit, Pankaj Sharma as Head of Business Transformation, Anand Vardhan as General Counsel, and Sheran Mehra as Chief Marketing Officer. These changes are in alignment with the bank’s aspiration to fortify core capabilities and expand across segments.

Singh’s appointment replaces that of Zubin Mody, who resigned in July 2025 after a two-decade association with the bank.

Singh brings over 28 years of experience in human resources leadership. Most recently, he served as the CHRO at ICICI Home Finance.

He spent 21 years within the ICICI Group, consisting of 11 years in ICICI Bank and 8 years in ICICI Prudential Life Insurance.

Prior to coming into the banking and financial services HR arena, Singh worked with several technology and industrial companies, including L&T, Atos Origin India, Tata Interactive Systems and Mphasis.

He holds a postgraduate degree in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from Xavier Institute of Social Service, Ranchi, and a chemistry honours degree from St Xavier College, Ranchi. The appointment is in line with SEBI LODR Regulation 30, IndusInd Bank informed the stock exchanges.
