As India charts its next phase of economic expansion, Union Budget 2026–27 has placed infrastructure firmly at the centre of the growth narrative. With a strong push toward future-ready infrastructure, enhanced capital expenditure, and a clear emphasis on Tier-II and Tier-III cities, the Budget has created fresh momentum for the real estate sector. For developers and investors alike, the policy direction offers greater clarity on connectivity, urban planning, and long-term development—setting the stage for growth hubs well beyond traditional metro markets.

The government’s decision to significantly raise infrastructure spending, alongside the creation of City Economic Regions with a dedicated ₹5,000 crore corpus per region, including temple towns, signals an intent to decentralise urbanisation. This approach is expected to unlock new residential, commercial, and mixed-use opportunities while improving confidence across the real estate value chain.
