Truecaller Strengthens Direct Ad Sales with Appointment of Vikas Khanna as Senior Director, Ad Sales – India

Bangalore, Karnataka, India: Truecaller, the leading global communications platform, today announced the appointment of Vikas Khanna as Senior Director, Ad Sales, Truecaller India. In this role, Khanna will lead Truecaller’s direct advertising sales business in India, with a mandate to scale premium brand partnerships, accelerate adoption of direct-only inventory, and expand industry-vertical-led solutions as the company enters its next phase of growth in advertising.

The appointment comes at a pivotal moment for Truecaller’s ads business. With more than 25 years of leadership experience across print, television, and digital media, Khanna brings deep market understanding and a proven track record of building and scaling high-impact advertising businesses. He joins Truecaller after holding senior leadership roles at several of India’s most respected media and technology organisations, including Jio Hotstar, Star Sports, ITV Network, TikTok, NewsX, TV18, NDTV Network, Times of India, and the India Today Group. His appointment significantly strengthens Truecaller’s senior leadership bench within the ads organisation.
