Lausanne: Collaboration software firm Revizto convened hundreds of architects, engineers, contractors and project owners at its annual Made Right Conference in San Diego, using the gathering to spotlight customer success stories and to debut a new AI integration built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

Over three days, Made Right 2026 blended keynote sessions, technical deep dives, customer case studies and panel discussions focused on one central theme: turning digital ambition into measurable results across complex construction and infrastructure projects.

Customers in the Spotlight

Unlike traditional tech conferences dominated by product announcements, Made Right placed customers at centre stage.

Laura Medina Rodriguez, VDC Lead at HerreroBoldtWebcor, shared insights from the $2 billion UCSF Health Helen Diller Hospital project one of the most technically demanding healthcare builds in the United States. Her presentation detailed how coordinated digital workflows helped manage scale and complexity in a live healthcare environment.

Executives from global manufacturer Mars outlined their own digital transformation journey. Aaron Lepley and Steve Cline, Senior Regional Project Engineers, described how the company transitioned from fragmented email chains and spreadsheet tracking to a fully connected, data-driven construction workflow within a year.

In a rare cross-discipline presentation, Praseedha Subramanian of DPR Construction and Isvet Paz of HGA demonstrated how a shared Revizto environment aligned design and construction teams across multiple phases of the Sutter Health West Campus project. The result: design fixity achieved in half the expected timeframe.

The takeaway was consistent. Integrated collaboration reduces friction and time.

Industry-Wide Digitalisation

Two panel discussions tackled broader structural change in the Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Operations (AECO) sector.

“Building the Next Generation of Physical and Digital Infrastructure,” hosted by Shaun Hester, brought together leaders from Mortenson, Laing O’Rourke, HED and Tutor Perini. The discussion explored how digital collaboration, 4D modelling and connected project environments are reshaping delivery of bridges, data centres and other complex infrastructure.

A second panel, moderated by Joann Gonchar of Architectural Record, addressed artificial intelligence in construction. Representatives from Trilon Group, Cupix, TwinKnowledge and Track3D discussed practical Artificial intelligence applications, data security considerations and the risks of overpromising in a sector where errors carry significant cost.

The tone was pragmatic. Artificial intelligence is advancing but caution remains critical.

AI Connectivity, Customer Control

The conference’s headline product moment came when Chief Product Officer Marc Schütz unveiled a live prototype integrating Revizto with the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an emerging universal standard for Artificial intelligence connectivity.

The demonstration showcased conversational AI interacting directly with project data. Attendees observed real-time issue management, automated model audits and workflow queries executed through external Artificial intelligence interfaces.

Crucially, the integration follows a “bring your own AI” model. Customer data is not used for Artificial intelligence training, and organisations retain full control over their intellectual property — a deliberate positioning in contrast to proprietary Artificial intelligence ecosystems.

In an industry where sensitive infrastructure data is involved, that distinction matters.

Recognising Industry Leaders

The conference also hosted the 2025 Collaborators of the Year Awards, celebrating organisations pushing digital construction boundaries.

• Collaborator of the Year: Knutson Construction, recognised for cross-disciplinary coordination and communication excellence.
• Innovator of the Year: Adam Booth, Principal Digital Engineer at Laing O’Rourke, honoured for advancing digital tools and sustainable delivery methods.
• Made Right Project of the Year: A confidential mission-critical data centre delivered by PCL Construction in San Antonio, cited for excellence across schedule, budget and quality benchmarks.

The awards reinforced the event’s focus on applied outcomes rather than theoretical potential.
