JKC Sports Launches with an Ambitious Multi-Sport Strategy to Shape India’s Sporting Future

Founded by Dr. Raghavpat Singhania and Madhav Singhania, the new venture aims to create structured pathways, strong athlete ecosystems, and a long-term roadmap aligned with India’s Olympic aspirations.

JKC Sports has officially made its entry into India’s fast-evolving sports ecosystem, signalling a bold and long-term commitment to strengthening the country’s sporting culture. Founded by Dr. Raghavpat Singhania and Madhav Singhania, the initiative brings a strategic, multi-sport vision focused on grassroots development, high-performance support, sports technology, and sustainable sports ventures.

The launch marks a significant step forward for the Singhania family, whose legacy includes decades of contributions to education, youth development, and nation-building. With India setting its sights on hosting its first Olympic Games in 2036, JKC Sports seeks to support that ambition by developing a robust, structured sporting pathway across disciplines.

At its core, the company will scale operations across three key verticals:

  1. A global fitness and wellness platform, aimed at integrating health, performance, and lifestyle solutions for youth and adults.
  2. JKC Sports Media, a digital-first vertical focused on creating impactful sports-related content, digital IPs, and fan engagement avenues.
  3. A High-Performance Centre that brings together coaching, sports science, analytics, and long-term athlete development frameworks designed to groom competitive athletes for national and international stages.

Speaking about the vision behind the venture, Dr. Raghavpat Singhania highlighted the shift from team ownership to broader system-building:
“This initiative goes beyond team ownership—it is about building long-term sporting architecture. Our focus is on value creation, training ecosystems, and community development that can inspire and sustain sporting aspiration.”

His co-founder, Madhav Singhania, who brings deep expertise in sports planning, talent structures, and infrastructure development, emphasised the role of sport in national progress:
“JKC Sports is founded on the belief that sport can be transformational and contribute to the cause of nation-building. We aim to build structured pathways, fuel ambition among young athletes, and contribute to India’s evolving global sporting profile.”

Madhav currently serves as President of the UP Squash Rackets Association, where he has been instrumental in driving grassroots access and competitive participation.

About the Directors

Dr. Raghavpat Singhania, Managing Director of J.K. Cement Ltd., is one of India’s prominent young business leaders. Over nearly two decades, he has transformed JK Cement into a leading force—now among the world’s largest manufacturers of white cement. His contributions extend to education and vocational development through institutions such as the Yadupati Singhania Vocational Education Foundation, LK Singhania Education Centre, and Sir Padampat Singhania University.

Mr. Madhavkrishna Singhania, Joint Managing Director & CEO of J.K. Cement Ltd., oversees the company’s modern, multinational operations. Under his leadership, JK Cement established its first overseas plant in Fujairah, UAE, and expanded into decorative paints with JK Maxx Paints in 2023. A Carnegie Mellon graduate and a member of The Economic Times 40 Under Forty, Class of 2025, he brings strategic vision and innovation-driven leadership to the new sports venture.

With JKC Sports’ official launch, the Singhanias are laying the foundation for a comprehensive, athlete-first sporting ecosystem—one that integrates talent development, technology, media, and grassroots access. Their long-term approach reflects a broader aspiration: to contribute meaningfully to India’s journey towards becoming a global sporting powerhouse.
