Digital Exhibition at Mahakumbh 2025 Highlights Government Welfare Schemes

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, has set up a digital exhibition at the Triveni Marg exhibition area in Prayagraj during Mahakumbh 2025, offering visitors valuable insights into key government welfare initiatives. Focused on empowering women and improving public health, the exhibition showcases several transformative programs, including Ayushman Bharat and various women’s empowerment schemes.

Prominently featured is the Nari Shakti Vandan Act, which reserves 33% of seats in the Lok Sabha and State Assemblies for women. The digital display highlights the success of self-help groups, with over 10 crore women achieving self-reliance, and the ambition to elevate 2 crore more women to the Lakhpati Didi status. Additionally, the Namo Drone Didi Scheme is empowering women’s self-help groups with drones, and over 4 crore Sukanya Samriddhi accounts have been opened, securing the future of girls with a total deposit of Rs. 2.6 lakh crore.

The exhibition also emphasizes the impact of the Ayushman Bharat Scheme, which has provided free medical treatment to 68 crore people, with Ayushman Cards issued to over 36 crore beneficiaries. Senior citizens have benefited from the Ayushman Vay Vandana Card, and more than 14,000 Jan Aushadhi Kendras are providing affordable medicines. The newly launched U-WIN Portal ensures regular vaccination tracking for children and women.

This engaging digital exhibition, which attracts hundreds of visitors daily, is receiving widespread praise for effectively raising awareness about government welfare schemes, promoting unity, and demonstrating the government’s dedication to socio-economic progress.
