“AI is not a threat but an opportunity—opening new fields and careers. The younger generation must be a lobby for peace while universities nurture innovation and human progress,” said Juan Antonio March Pujol, Ambassador of Spain to India.
“With over 515 global collaborations, we are creating opportunities for students and faculty to engage globally. The Summit fosters innovation, ethical AI use, and interdisciplinary research,” said Deep Inder Singh Sandhu, Senior Managing Director, Chandigarh University.
“The question is not how we train students to use AI, but how we prepare them for a world where fluent nonsense is everywhere,” said Dr. Pontus Warnestal, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Halmstad University, Sweden.
“No university can meet these challenges alone; we need partnerships across borders and disciplines,” said Prof. Stephen Khehla Ndlovu, Vice-Chancellor, Vaal University of Technology, South Africa.
The Global Education Summit 2025 reaffirmed Chandigarh University’s leadership in advancing global higher education dialogue. By uniting academia from across continents, the event showcased a shared vision—harnessing AI and technology responsibly, deepening collaboration, and shaping adaptable, compassionate, and globally connected learning communities for the future.
