Axis Max Life’s Assets Under Management Exceed Rs. 2 Lakh Crore

Axis Max Life Insurance Ltd., formerly known as Max Life Insurance Co. Ltd. (“Axis Max Life” or the “Company”), has achieved a significant business milestone, with its Assets Under Management (AUM) crossing ₹2 lakh crore as of June 30, 2026, registering an annual growth rate of 10.5%. This achievement reflects the strength of the Company’s investment strategy and disciplined investment policies.

The growth in the Company’s AUM has largely been driven by its customer-centric approach, diversified distribution channels, product innovation, and technology-enabled operating model. Over time, Axis Max Life has built a robust investment portfolio through prudent asset allocation and sound risk management across Government Securities, Corporate Bonds, Equities, Commercial Real Estate, Alternate Investment Funds (AIFs), Infrastructure Investment Trusts (InvITs), and Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs).

He further added, “At Axis Max Life, every investment decision is guided by a single objective—to safeguard the long-term financial security of our customers through robust governance, prudent portfolio management, and disciplined execution. As we continue to grow, our focus remains on being customer-centric, creating long-term value, and strengthening customer trust.”

The milestone comes against the backdrop of another successful year for the Company. According to the Company’s public filings for FY26*, Axis Max Life recorded a 19% increase in Individual Adjusted First Year Premiums to ₹9,885 crore, resulting in its private market share increasing to 10.4%. Reinforcing its commitment to customers, Axis Max Life also recorded its highest-ever Individual Death Claims Paid Ratio of 99.8%*.
