VinFast Accelerates India Push with 24 New Dealerships; VF 6 & VF 7 Now in Major Cities

Vietnamese EV maker deepens retail footprint ahead of full-scale Tamil Nadu plant rollout

VinFast, Vietnam’s fast-rising electric vehicle manufacturer, has taken a decisive step in its India expansion with 24 operational dealerships now open across the country. The milestone marks solid progress toward its target of 35 dealerships by December 2025, further anchoring its promise to deliver premium electric mobility experiences at scale.

The newly opened showrooms bring VinFast’s sleek, modern retail identity to high-impact locations including Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Pune, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Nagpur, and Kochi, among others. Customers visiting these new outlets can now experience the company’s latest premium all-electric SUVs — VF 6 and VF 7 — up close.

Each dealership adheres to VinFast’s global design standards, offering immersive car display environments and transparent customer onboarding. The brand is positioning these experience-focused centers as the spearhead of its mission: EV adoption made simple, accessible, and inspiring.

Speaking on the milestone,
Tapan Ghosh, CEO, VinFast India, noted:

“India’s enthusiasm for sustainable mobility motivates us to keep raising the bar. The rapid rollout of our brand experience showrooms underscores VinFast’s long-term commitment. Our goal is not just to sell EVs, but to deliver an inspiring, customer-centric journey anchored in sustainability and innovation.”

A Growing EV Ecosystem

VinFast is building more than a dealership network — the automaker is assembling a comprehensive ecosystem encompassing charging, servicing, and nationwide support. It has entered strategic partnerships with RoadGrid, myTVS, Castrol India, and Global Assure to create an integrated service, charging, and roadside assistance network, designed to bolster customer confidence in transitioning to electric mobility.

The Tamil Nadu Anchor

A key pillar of VinFast’s India strategy is its 400-acre manufacturing facility in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, currently under development. The plant will assemble the VF 6 and VF 7 models in Phase 1, with an initial capacity of 50,000 units per year, scalable to 150,000 units. Once fully operational, the facility is expected to create 3,000–3,500 direct jobs, alongside thousands more across the supply chain — strengthening Tamil Nadu’s position as a rising EV manufacturing hub in South Asia.

A Runway to 35 Dealerships

With 24 dealerships live and 11 more slated to open before end-2025, VinFast is building a strong nationwide platform for sales, servicing, and customer engagement. The strategic rollout reinforces the company’s commitment to delivering a modern EV ownership experience — combining premium product, transparent interaction, dependable servicing, and robust after-sales care.

VinFast (NASDAQ: VFS), part of Vietnam’s Vingroup, is a pure-play electric vehicle manufacturer offering a global product portfolio spanning electric SUVs, e-buses, and e-scooters. The company is scaling its international presence across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
