VinFast Expands South India Footprint with Dual Showroom Launch in Hyderabad

Vietnamese EV major strengthens its India presence, promises a premium yet accessible electric mobility experience

VinFast Auto India, the Indian arm of the global EV manufacturer VinFast, has officially opened two premium showrooms in Hyderabad, marking a significant step in its rapid expansion across South India. The launch follows closely on the heels of the debut of VinFast’s electric SUVs — the VF 6 and VF 7 — in Delhi, signaling the company’s growing ambitions in India’s fast-evolving electric mobility landscape.

The new showrooms, promoted by Nanesh Automotives Pvt Ltd under the leadership of Mr. Vivek Jain, are strategically located at Dargah Road and Patigadda. The Dargah Road facility spans 3,300 sq. ft., while the Patigadda outlet covers 2,700 sq. ft., offering customers an immersive experience with VinFast’s latest range of smart, sustainable SUVs.

With these launches, VinFast is accelerating its roadmap to establish 35 dealerships across more than 27 Indian cities by the end of 2025. Customers can book their vehicles at the showrooms or online via VinFastAuto.in with a fully refundable booking amount of ₹21,000.

To support its nationwide rollout, the company is also building a strong service and charging infrastructure. It has partnered with myTVS, one of India’s largest multi-brand service networks, to extend maintenance and repair reach. In addition, collaborations with Global Assure ensure 24/7 roadside assistance for customers, while partnerships with RoadGrid and V-Green aim to bolster EV charging accessibility and establish a dedicated network in the long run.

A key pillar of VinFast’s India strategy is its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, where the VF 6 and VF 7 models will be assembled. The plant’s proximity to the port strengthens India’s positioning as a global manufacturing and export hub for the brand.

Furthering its sustainability mission, the company has also partnered with BatX Energies to promote battery circularity and recycling, reinforcing its commitment to environmental responsibility throughout the product lifecycle.

Speaking at the Hyderabad launch, Mr. Pham Sanh Chau, CEO, VinFast Asia, emphasized the city’s importance in VinFast’s India expansion:

“With its growing urban infrastructure and increasing EV adoption, Hyderabad holds strategic importance in our expansion roadmap. The inauguration of our dealerships here marks another significant milestone in our journey to build a robust EV ecosystem across India. With our partner Nanesh Automotives Pvt Ltd, we are committed to delivering not only advanced EV technology but also a seamless and customer-first ownership journey. We believe that the city’s progressive and sustainability-conscious consumers will resonate strongly with our vision of premium yet accessible electric mobility.”

It’s entry into Hyderabad reinforces its ambition to make India a cornerstone of its global operations. With successful market entries in the United States, Canada, Europe, the Philippines, Indonesia, and the Middle East, the company’s international footprint now spans three continents, reflecting its commitment to driving the global EV revolution.
