Sarovar Hotels Unveils “The Shoonyam Retreat” with Dr. Mickey Mehta in Bodhgaya

Gurugram, Haryana, India – Sarovar Hotels has launched its exclusive wellness initiative, The Shoonyam Retreat, in collaboration with global holistic health expert Dr. Mickey Mehta. Set against the serene backdrop of Marasa Sarovar Premiere, Bodhgaya, the retreat combines ancient wisdom with modern science to offer guests a transformative journey of inner awakening, physical renewal, and holistic well-being.

The Shoonyam Retreat spans three immersive nights over the next four months, with each session limited to 100 guests to ensure a personalized experience. Guests can participate in a thoughtfully curated blend of yoga, aqua yoga, guided meditation, healing therapies, satsangs, dance therapy, and star meditation, along with Satvik culinary experiences and discussions with Buddhist monks. Special group wellness sessions are personally led by Dr. Mickey Mehta, designed to cultivate joy, balance, and self-discovery.

Ajay K. Bakaya, Chairman of Sarovar Hotels, said, “At Sarovar Hotels, we aim to create purposeful travel experiences. ‘The Shoonyam Retreat’ is more than a wellness programme—it’s a journey inward, rooted in one of the world’s most spiritual locations. We’re proud to pioneer this initiative at Bodhgaya.”

Dr. Mickey Mehta shared his vision: “Change is constant; we must be the choreographers of our own evolution. The Shoonyam Retreat offers a sacred space to rediscover yourself—beyond healing, towards feeling whole, alive, and liberated. With Sarovar’s support, we invite guests to walk this path of inner transformation.”

Early bird discounts of 10% are available until September 12, with an additional 10% off for bookings of five rooms or more. The first session begins on October 9, 2025.
