REnergy Dynamics Partners with GMM Pfaudler to Manufacture Paddle Agitators Under ‘Make in India’ Initiative

The alliance strengthens India’s self-reliance in CBG equipment manufacturing and supports the nation’s growing bioenergy ecosystem.

Key Highlights:

  • Partnership: REnergy Dynamics (RED) has entered into a strategic alliance with GMM Pfaudler, a global leader in industrial mixing and process technologies.
  • Objective: To manufacture paddle agitators locally under the ‘Make in India’ initiative, meeting the growing needs of India’s Compressed Biogas (CBG) sector.
  • Production Facility: Commercial manufacturing has begun at a state-of-the-art plant in Gujarat, marking RED-GMM as one of India’s first domestic producers of paddle agitators.
  • Market Potential: With nearly 1,000 CBG plants expected within three years, the paddle agitator market in India’s CBG segment is projected to reach ₹7,500 crore.
  • Key Application: Agitators already deployed in Reliance Industries’ CBG project executed by RED — serving as a flagship reference installation.
  • Strategic Edge: Reduces import dependence, ensures world-class technology availability at competitive costs, and boosts the domestic CBG value chain.
  • Technology Synergy: Combines RED’s bioenergy expertise with GMM Pfaudler’s global mixing technology, ensuring scalable, efficient, and cost-effective solutions for Indian feedstock conditions.

“This partnership marks RED’s entry into manufacturing paddle agitators essential for India’s CBG industry. GMM Pfaudler’s global footprint and expertise make them the ideal partner,” said Kushagra Nandan, CMD, REnergy Dynamics.

“By producing paddle agitators locally, we are making India self-reliant in the CBG value chain while providing world-class technology at competitive costs,” said Varun Karad, CEO, REnergy Dynamics.

“RED’s vision and our global mixing expertise together form a strong foundation for scalable, reliable solutions,” said Aseem Joshi, CEO, GMM Pfaudler.

“As India’s CBG sector expands, reliable agitator solutions tailored to Indian feedstock will be key to cost efficiency and growth,” added Devang Bhojani, General Manager, GMM Pfaudler.

The REnergy Dynamics–GMM Pfaudler alliance is a landmark step in India’s clean energy manufacturing landscape. By producing paddle agitators domestically, the partnership supports the Make in India vision, empowers the CBG ecosystem, and strengthens India’s transition towards a sustainable, technology-driven bioenergy future.
