JM Financial Appoints Ankur Jhaveri as Managing Director & CEO, Institutional Equities

Mumbai, January 15, 2025 – JM Financial, a diversified and integrated financial services group, has announced the appointment of Ankur Jhaveri as Managing Director & CEO, Institutional Equities, JM Financial Institutional Securities Limited. In his new role, Ankur will spearhead the Sales, Trading, Research, and Derivatives businesses, with a focus on driving growth and enhancing the firm’s institutional equities platform.

Ankur joins JM Financial with an extensive track record of nearly two decades in institutional equities and derivatives. Before joining the firm, he served as Managing Director at Axis Capital, where he played a key role in shaping the business. Ankur holds an MBA in Finance and Financial Management Services from NL Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research, along with a Master of Finance (International Finance) from ICFAI University.
