Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, India – September 6, 2025 – JK Cement Ltd., a leading name in India’s cement industry, has officially begun construction of its greenfield cement plant in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, with a proposed investment of Rs. 3,000 crore. Spread across 525 acres, the facility is expected to be operational by early 2027 and represents a strategic move to expand production, enhance raw material security, and strengthen the company’s pan-India presence.

The location was chosen for its proximity to limestone reserves and high-demand markets in Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Haryana, along with a robust network of dealers and distributors, enabling efficient supply chain operations and business growth.

Raghavpat Singhania, Managing Director of JK Cement Ltd., stated, “This plant is a pivotal step in JK Cement’s journey. Beyond enhancing production capabilities, it will generate employment, skill development, and regional progress. The plant will incorporate state-of-the-art technology, including waste heat recovery systems, demonstrating JK Cement’s focus on sustainability, energy efficiency, and reduced carbon footprint.
