HYLENR Secures $3 Million in Pre-Series A Funding to Commercialize Low-Energy Nuclear Reaction (LENR) Systems

HYDERABAD Clean energy startup HYLENR Technologies has closed a USD 3 million Pre-Series A funding round to advance its proprietary Low Energy Nuclear Reaction (LENR) systems from pilot stage to commercial deployment. The investment signals rising confidence in LENR as a safe, scalable, and carbon-free alternative to fossil fuel-based energy systems.

The round was led by Valour Capital and Chhattisgarh Investments Limited, with participation from angel investors Karthik Sundar Iyer and Anant Sarda. PwC served as financial advisor, and Samvad Partners provided legal counsel.

LENR Technology Poised for Real-World Deployment

HYLENR’s patented LENR platform generates clean thermal energy suitable for industrial heat and power applications. The technology, long considered a fringe possibility, is now entering a new phase of validation and commercialisation through successful proof-of-concept tests and interest from large corporations and government bodies.

“Our recent lab results show unprecedented energy gain ratios,” said Siddhartha Durairajan, Chairman and Managing Director of HYLENR. “This round gives us the momentum to accelerate our product roadmap. We’re in the early stages of deploying LENR in real-world conditions, and the response from industrial players has been promising.”

“HYLENR’s LENR systems are disruptive — they represent a leap forward in redefining industrial energy generation,” said Karan Goshar, Partner at Valour Capital. “The scalability and safety of this solution, coupled with a strong team, gives us confidence in its global relevance during the clean energy transition.”

Commercial Rollout and Global Expansion

With pilot projects underway, HYLENR’s initial product range includes systems starting from 7.2kW for domestic and light commercial use, up to 1MW units for large-scale industrial applications. These systems are designed to replace fossil fuel-based boilers and generators in sectors such as manufacturing, district heating, and desalination.

“We are no longer in the experimental phase,” said Ram Ramaseshan, Co-Founder and CEO. “This funding allows us to move quickly toward product development, manufacturing, and deployment in high-demand markets like the US, Europe, Japan, and India.”

The company is now preparing for a USD 25 million Series A round, with a focus on clean energy–oriented funds and strategic investors from the US and Europe. The new capital will support global expansion, deepen R&D capabilities, and build out manufacturing infrastructure.

Scientific Leadership and Vision

HYLENR’s innovations are guided by Padma Shri Dr. Prahlada, the company’s Chief Innovation Officer, renowned for his contributions to India’s Akash missile program, and Dr. Varaprasad, Chief Scientific Officer. Their expertise underpins HYLENR’s dual-patented LENR system — one covering product architecture, the other the core reaction mechanism.

Founded in 2024 and headquartered in Hyderabad, HYLENR is now positioned at the forefront of alternative energy innovation.

About HYLENR Technologies
