Bansal Ship Breakers Pvt. Ltd. Honoured with Swachh Samudra Ship Recycling Excellence Award

Alang (Gujarat) [India] Bansal Ship Breakers Pvt. Ltd., a pioneer in sustainable and safe ship recycling, has been awarded the Swachh Samudra Ship Recycling Excellence Award during the 75th Anniversary celebrations of the Directorate General of Shipping (DG Shipping) in Mumbai. The ceremony, held at the Bharat Ratnam – Mega Common Facilitation Centre, SEEPZ SEZ, recognized the company’s commitment to global standards in environmentally responsible ship recycling.

Founded by Kaporchand Karamchand Bansal in Alang, Gujarat, the company has evolved under the leadership of his sons, Rubal Bansal and Bharat Bansal, into a benchmark for international compliance, sustainability, and operational excellence. Investments in advanced infrastructure, worker welfare, and environmental stewardship have positioned Bansal Ship Breakers as a leader in the industry.
