Axis Max Life Claims Highest Death Claims Paid Percentage of 99.8% in FY26

Axis Max Life Insurance Limited, earlier named Max Life Insurance Company Limited (“Axis Max Life”/”Company”), has settled 20,529 individual death claims totaling ₹1,641 Cr in FY 2025-26 with a record individual death claims paid percentage of 99.8%. This reflects an upward trend from 99.34% in FY 2021-22, thereby establishing 99.8% as a new benchmark for trust – India Ke Bharose Ka Number™+. To date, a sum of ₹11,772.21 Cr has been paid in death claims on 2,43,524 policies of Axis Max Life.

For quicker claims processing, Axis Max Life has strengthened its underwriting capabilities through predictive analytics and advanced fraud management, enabled by digital forensics. This has allowed the Company to achieve the first rank in the Life Insurance CuES 2026** ranking by Hansa Research among Indian life insurance companies.
