autoX Announces the ‘Best of 2025’ Award Winners: A Definitive Ranking of the Year’s Top 10 Machines

Delhi, India — autoX has announced the winners of its prestigious ‘Best of 2025’ Awards following an extensive Mega Test at the Buddh International Circuit (BIC). Fifty newly launched cars and motorcycles were put through a rigorous, multi-stage evaluation process to arrive at the ten best-performing machines of the year. The results were unveiled at an exclusive ceremony hosted at Andaz Delhi in Aerocity.

The annual autoX Mega Test brings every major automobile launch of the past twelve months to one unified platform. Each contender undergoes comprehensive assessment under extreme conditions at the BIC. The evaluation focuses on quality, comfort, refinement, ride and handling, design, drivetrain performance, practicality, value, and a key parameter known as the X-factor. This final attribute recognises the intangible qualities that inspire emotion, elevate engineering excellence, and set the finest machines apart.

The Top Ten list represents five four-wheelers, three two-wheelers, and two performance awards reserved for the fastest car and bike around the short loop at the Buddh International Circuit. The selection process combines detailed road testing with an objective, transparent scoring system. Lap times at the BIC are incorporated to benchmark power, braking, stability, agility, and overall dynamic ability. autoX publishes all scoring data to maintain credibility and consistency.

The autoX jury consists of some of India’s most experienced road testers, bringing together over a hundred years of cumulative testing knowledge. Each jury member evaluates the vehicles independently. Final scores are then averaged to eliminate bias, ensuring that only the most capable machines earn a place on the list.

The BIC serves as a controlled environment where each contender can be pushed to the limit in complete safety. The circuit’s long straights, fast sweeping corners, braking zones, and technical sections reveal engineering strengths that may not be immediately visible on public roads. Cars, motorcycles, and scooters are all evaluated under identical parameters in order to preserve fairness and scientific integrity.

Dhruv Behl, Founder and Editor-in-Chief of autoX, said that the awards aim to guide consumers through the overwhelming number of annual launches by identifying the vehicles that deliver excellence across segments. He added that the final list is curated to appeal to a wide range of Indian buyers, from performance enthusiasts to everyday commuters.
