Air Canada has rolled out its Black Fly-Day Sale for Indian travellers, introducing a range of attractive limited-period discounts on flights to Canada, the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean. As the country’s largest airline and national flag carrier, Air Canada continues strengthening its bond with the Indian travel market by offering seasonal promotions that support holiday planning, family reunions and cross-continental tourism.
The promotion features up to INR 5,000 off on Economy-class return fares for tickets booked between 09:00 on 27 November and 11:59 on 3 December. These discounted fares are valid for travel from 12 January 2026 to 31 May 2026, giving travellers a generous window to plan spring holidays, business visits, educational trips or early-summer vacations. For many Indian families with relatives in Toronto, Vancouver or Montreal, the timing offers an opportunity to plan reunions at more accessible prices. It also opens convenient travel options to cities such as New York, Washington DC, Cancun and Costa Rica.
Air Canada offers smooth connectivity across its extensive Canadian network, allowing passengers to easily reach both business hubs and picturesque regions. Those travelling onward to the United States benefit from the added convenience of US customs preclearance at Air Canada’s Canadian hubs. This process enables passengers to complete immigration and customs formalities before departure, resulting in a seamless arrival experience in the United States, where they are treated as domestic arrivals.
Beyond major cities, the Black Fly-Day Sale includes a strong selection of leisure destinations. Popular hotspots such as Cancun in Mexico and Juan Santamaría in Costa Rica are part of the discounted offering, appealing to travellers looking for warm-weather escapes. Within Canada, cities including Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax and Ottawa are featured in the promotion. Eligible flights include those operated by Air Canada, Air Canada Rouge and Air Canada Express, subject to availability and route conditions.
The offer supports group travel as well, enabling up to nine passengers to be included under one booking. Families and small travel groups can therefore plan holidays together without navigating separate reservations. Optional services such as seat selection, cabin upgrades and additional baggage allowances remain chargeable, as the fare discount applies exclusively to the base fare. All surcharges, taxes, government-imposed fees and other charges must be paid in full by each traveller, including children and infants occupying individual seats.
Tickets purchased under the Black Fly-Day Sale cannot be combined with any other promotional offer. Travellers can review detailed fare information, booking terms and route availability on Air Canada’s official website. As with most promotional fares, seats are limited and subject to availability at the time of booking.
The offer is valid only for departures from India and does not apply to flights originating in Canada, the United States, Mexico or the Caribbean. Eligible flights extend to Air Canada-operated services, Air Canada Rouge and select partner flights operated by United Airlines and certain Lufthansa Group carriers. All promotional terms remain subject to change without prior notice.
Air Canada is a Four-Star Skytrax-rated airline and a founding member of Star Alliance. It operates flights to more than 180 airports across six continents and is recognised for its extensive Aeroplan loyalty program. The airline has pledged to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 and is publicly traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the US OTCQX market.
